1 and 2 Stockwell Villas are occupied by European Officers, and the Durbar House by Native Officers of one of the Indian Regiments as Officers' Messes. If these Officers are on the lodging list the premises are rateable (See T.D. Letter dated 8th January, 1902 with G.O.D. 21).
Punjab Buildings which have been vacant since the end of February, 1903, were formerly occupied as Married Quarters by Non-Commissioned Officers and Men of a Native Regiment. These premises are more in the nature of Barracks, and the rates for January and February might be remitted.
